Mandonna with child

We recently went to visit my son Pete and his wife Han, and to meet our second Grand-daughter Willow (barely a fortnight old). A day or two later Han, who is a talented photographer, sent us this photo, which spoke to me. I've tried to capture something of what I see in Pete's face in the sketch and the associated poem. The subject seems sort of appropriate for Christmas. I hope you enjoy the poem, and I wish you a peaceful and serene Christmas.
